I have decided to include a deals section on my blog. I will be posting some good deals for computers, accessories, cell phone accessories and other tech related products of major online shops.
Starting from today, three of the fifty participating blogs will be accepting entries for the jaw-dropping HP and Microsoft $6000 Magic Giveaway contest. This is not your average mousepad and a sticker giveaway, the prizepool includes a multi-touch PC, two laptops, a netbook, a printer, a media server and software. Suffice to say if you win this, it will make your Christmas and hopefully others around you too.
For the best chances of winning, make sure you visit each of the fifty blogs during their 7-day contest period. To make it easy for you to follow along, here are dates of all the blogs in fancy Google Calendar form and downloadable ICS format.

Some of you might remember that HP had a big giveaway arranged through different blogs of a very expensive desktop replacement laptop and some softwares with it. It was a joint initiative of Microsoft, HP & BuzzCorp.
I am not sure if it’s being handled through BuzzCorp again but Microsoft & HP are surely together in this one too. I participated in almost every blog the last time, lol, and I hope I can do the same again. Everyone can join in this time too I think, it’s not just a US only competition :D which is excellent.
So what does $6000 get you?
* HP TouchSmart IQ816 PC (infamously used in Windows 7 multi-touch demoes)
* HP HDX 18 series Premium Notebook PC
* HP MediaSmart Connect digital media receiver
* HP Pavilion dv4 series Entertainment Notebook PC
* HP Mini 1000
* HP Photosmart C6380 Wireless AIO multifunction
* HP 564 Photo Value Pak
* Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate and Home Premium preinstalled
* Microsoft Office 2007 Home and Student Edition
* Corel VideoStudio X2
* Kung Fu Panda (DVD & Blu-ray)
The competition starts soon and more details on how you can enter at this site will follow, but I just want to say for today I have the utmost respect for HP and Microsoft, who under less than ideal economic situations is going to make this holiday season a memorable one for at least 50 people, their friends and family.
Make sure you participate!
