Damn you! - He’s our Chief Justice……

It’s just sad… You for heaven’s sake don’t treat your Chief Justice like this. Thanks to Teeth Maestro for posting it. Quoting from his blog. Keep the good work up bro.

Ever since the attack on the Judiciary in Pakistan, last Friday (post) practically the entire country is abuzz with a number of confusing questions of which probably the least addressed is when does Pervaiz Musharraf enforce a proper Martial Law. In my opinion Pakistan is already under a full fledged Martial Law since 1999 but disguised as a torjan horse titled Enlightened Moderation.

A number critics say that it just can’t happen, while many believe that martial law is inevitable. I belong the latter group, in my opinion Musharraf had been buttering the people of Pakistan for the past year in preparations to make them swallow the presidency pill for another five years. The stage was prepared when he successfully masterminded a thumbs up from Uncle Sam, it was during his US-Book Tour visit that Pakistan went through an interesting roller coaster ride, I had protested back then that the simple revelation of Pakistan being bombed back into the stone ages should have been enough for any decent Pakistani leader to walk off, but not Musharraf as he was their for a more personal reason far more important then Pakistan. Millions back home reacted simply How Dare They?. It was actually Musharraf who expertly handled the ABC interview threw out this ball-busting comment to force George Bush onto the back foot and then was able to pull out the trump card right from the grasp of Uncle Sam getting himself a sexy peck on the cheek and a pat on the behind for a job well done. Musharraf finished the cake with a hilarious gig with Jon Stewart where he displayed stand-up comedy type of showmanship but the icing was when he got Bush to publicly plug his autobiography on live TV, asking people to ‘Buy the Book’, literally a dream come true for any aspiring writer.

Breaking News: Police storms Media offices in Islamabad

My blood is boiling right now. Police has stormed media offices of GEO News and their newspapers in Islamabad. They have already tortured and arrested their one journalist and are damaging their offices and using tear gas within their building. Information Minister was talking LIVE on GEO and saying this action was not necessary and I condemn it and that he will investigate who ordered this and the said person will be dealt with. I don’t think you will be able to do any thing Mr. Information Minister.

State owned television channel is busy producing media footage which are showing peaceful protests only and not where the Police has tried to disperse them. They claim every thing is peaceful and Police has allowed everyone to do any thing.

April 14, 2005
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has asked Law Minister Wasi Zafar to keep his cool after noting his aggression and misbehaviour. Sources said on Wednesday that Shaukat Aziz had invited Wasi Zafar to a lunch hosted in honour of visiting Azeri President Ilham Aliyev when all of a sudden the law minister was seen being escorted by two security guards through one of the doors of Prime Minister’s House. Both security guards caught hold of the law minister by his arms, sources said, adding that the PM’s deputy military secretary rushed to the scene and escorted the law minister out through another door. The prime minister and Azeri president also heard the scuffle while presiding over the signing ceremony of accords between both countries. Later during lunch, the prime minister asked Wasi Zafar to keep his cool.

Hmm, so prime minister does not take any action against Wasi Zafar for not keeping cool. Just asked him to keep his cool, no complaints no nothing.

March 2007
ISLAMABAD: Federal Law Minister Wasi Zafar repeatedly hurled naked abuse in a live Voice of America (VoA) radio discussion on chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry’s deposition, which was heard worldwide on Monday night.

As Wasi Zafar heard Ansar joining the programme, he lost his cool and started hurling abuse. He was angered because of a story headlined “Law minister facing long arm of the law” that Ansar had filed and was published in The News on August 13, 2005. It said the prime minister and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain would decide the fate of the law minister for his son’s thrashing of a PIA passenger in his presence at the Karachi airport.

Palestine - Peace Shattered

Sorry folks but for not replying to your comments, esp. on P5B Deluxe issue was away. Back now so will answer all insha’Allah. Meanwhile, I am finding it very hard… Palestinians KILLING each other. Someone who say slept in the year 2000 and used to hear Palestinians getting killed by Israelis, say he slept in 2000 and wakes up today, while hearing TRUCE broken, he would be like the hell with Israel but as soon as he hears it’s Hamas and Fatah fighting with each other and killing one another, he most probably would commit suicide.

With due respects, I am not a fan of Fatah, they are what you can call the “traitors” but what the hell. HAMAS? Why? I do know Fatah and Western countries are not being just with you but for heaven’s sake don’t kill each other over a damn Government control! Just have patience, do peaceful protests and the people of Palestine and the muslim world will be with you but if you start acting like this, sorry to say but you (and Fatah) are mocking Palestinian Freedom movement and muslims and not to mention saving Israel some precious “ENERGY”.

How hi-tech Hizbullah called the shots

Read a very interesting article on Hizbollah’s Website! If this is even slightly true, tells you what can an Army with EEMAAN and Hi-Tech do!

Beirut - Hizbullah`s ability to repel the “Israeli” Army during the recent conflict was largely due to its use of intelligence techniques (believed to be) gleaned from allies Iran and Syria that allowed it to monitor encoded “Israeli” communications relating to battlefield actions, according to “Israeli” officials, whose claims have been independently corroborated by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

“`Israeli` EW [electronic warfare] systems were unable to jam the systems at the Iranian Embassy in Beirut, they proved unable to jam Hizbullah`s command and control links from Lebanon to Iranian facilities in Syria, they blocked the Barak ship anti-missile systems, and they hacked into “Israeli” operations communications in the field,” Richard Sale, the longtime intelligence editor for United Press International, who was alerted to this intelligence failure by current and former CIA officials, told Asia Times Online.
