Waste of money?

I always wonder when I see such a “Project”.
Taj Mahal…

http://www.greatbuildings.com/buildings/Taj_Mahal.html
I read an article long ago of Javed Choudhry I agreed with him fully, on his point of view. Muslims when sticked to their religion “truely” were glorious. As soon as they got out of their religion’s teachings and become “Money Wasters”…they were…
Shah Jahan, fine, a great Muslim emporer, whatever he was. I don’t question that but was making “Taj Mahal” not a waste of money? It’s beautiful indeed, wonder of the World? I don’t question that. I don’t question love for his wife but was it not a waste of money? Why did his wife die? She died while giving birth to a child. After his wife’s death, he just lost control over him self, as in he was just sad and sad and sad about her and he decided to make “Taj Mahal” in her rememberance.
Around same time frame, the article said, Britain had a King too, he lost his wife while she was giving birth and instead of mourning for her for rest of his life and order “Wasting money on a Tomb for her”. He issued orders that gather young and energetic women from far away villages and cities, teach them the ups and downs and how to deal with child birth, send them back to their villages and cities and ask them to teach more and more women about it & if I hear that a woman has died while giving birth after this, the woman taking care of the birth case and family of the woman who died, they will have to answer me and I will not leave them alone.
Think for your self…

Towards destruction…
I find it very disturbing. I cannot swallow it. We did not have any Private Channel until ARY came in and GEO followed, or GEO came first then ARY followed. That’s not my headache. The headache started when I saw both of these going beyond limits, which being owned by Muslims and representing a Muslim country should have never happened!
I am sick of them!!!
GEO…I loved it and still love it for News. What else do I want than such a cool Paki News channel BUT…I don’t like them getting out of the limits. What limits? They started showing stupid Dramas and then other such shows…They are like westernizing every thing. Their Drama has lost the actualy Pakistani and Muslim culture. That’s what I call going out of limits. Now they have started another channel, well they have transfered the News to GEO NEWS now and will be showing 24 hours News on the News channel and 24 hours Entertainment on GEO Channel. They were showing a few glimpses of the Dramas and other Entertainment they will be having on this channel and it is just out of limits…Just out of limits!!! Call me “Narrow minded” if you want but I don’t care. They should never go beyong the limits. It’s not good. They will be going more n more n more out of limits as the time passes by.
ARY Digital Network…It’s owner is some Wahhabi having a long long beard. I did not believe it when I saw him. Because the Channels are showing things all out of limits and the owner is an “Al-Hajj” with big beard and praying sign on his “DUMB” Forehead. They are also gonna have a new channel, I was hoping to get a good one but tadaan, there you go. They are releasing “Fashion TV Pakistan”!!! & they showed just a few glimpses of all that, at least we are not comfortable in watching it.
Is this all going on a plan set by Anti-Islam lobby? I saw a lady comment the other day about dresses, trousers & shirt was something not considered “normal” in early 80’s and 90’s in Pakistan. Was it? But now it is considered normal, because we are getting all those “Western” things into Pakistan and loosing our Culture and religion. The lady was commenting about her daughter wearing trousers & shirt, that she’s a young girl, she can wear it, I am against skirts and such short dresses but what’s wrong with the trousers & shirt, she can wear it. Those “short dresses” like “skirts” are not considered “normal” now but I am pretty sure, if things go like this, in next 10-15 years, those will be considered “normal” too. I wanted to ask that lady that why the hell did she not ask her daughter to wear all that in early 80’s or 90’s?
I blame Musharraf for this too. He has given “FREEDOM”. I want “FREEDOM” too. “FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION” but no way the “FREEDOM” which gets the masses into bad.
Is this really a plan? In Dramas, on Television ads, Newspaper ads. You see a “woman” advertising from a tooth brush to a car. Ok. I don’t have a problem with it. But why are they always showing “a boy” and “a girl” together like “LOVE BIRDS”? They will be advertising reduced costs of Cell phone charges, you will see “LOVE BIRDS”. They will advertise calling cards, you will see “LOVE BIRDS”. They will advertise cold drinks, you will see “LOVE BIRDS”. They will advertise buy one get one free, you will see “LOVE BIRDS”. They will advertise candies, chocolates, ice creams and toffees, you will see “LOVE BIRDS”. They will advertise 2 connections in one price, you will see “LOVE BIRDS”. They have got the same “LOVE BIRDS” in Ads targetted on little kids even! What is all this? Where is this going? Why are they showing “LOVE BIRDS” all the time? I feel like they are not doing good by getting things cheap but they are “CALLING” the masses to “SINS” when they advertise like that…
Can they not make dramas, ads and movies with woman in Hijaab? What do they get when they “degrade” women? Why does those not realize what they are doing?
O’ Allah…have mercy on us. Send our Imam (a.s.) soon…we are going towards destruction indeed…….Please have mercy on us…Please…
Don’t Quit!
Jiju, :-), tinking of ya. Hehe. Remember the poem?
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit.
Rest if you must, but do not quit.
Life is Queer with it twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a fellow turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer then
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor’s cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out
The silver tint of the cloud of doubt,
Ant you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit,
It’s when things seem worst then you mustn’t quit.
Respect of a teacher
Saw this in my School friend’s Cell phone. Check it out your self. The title says “Ehteram-al-Mudarris”, “Respect of a Teacher”. This is most probably recorded in some Western country, my friend called it USA/Canada, the guy runs smoothly, gets near his teacher who is unaware what he will go through. The guy slips his…and runs away. There are loud laughs, it’s enjoyed by all students? The teacher gets his…up and runs after the student. Then just stops near the back seats and the clip ends.
What would the student get as punishment? I am told if the teacher had hit the student, he would be in trouble. If a student had got up and done something to that stupid and sick student, he would have got in trouble and the student who did it would have gone through it without any harm.
Is this what Western version of “FREEDOM” teaches???
Download it HERE.
You will need Real One Player to play the *.3gp* file. I tried to convert it but in vain. I will do it later sometime. Meanwhile play it with Real One Player.
Shocking!!!
Came across this article. Left me shocked and angry. This world is sick…
Earthquake orphans sold into sex trade
SIX-YEAR-OLD Aisha loves the orange blouse and jeans given to her by the kind woman who rescued her from the chaos of the Kashmir earthquake. She snuggles up to her, trying to forget the devastation of her village home and the deaths of her parents 15 days ago.
What Aisha does not know is that the woman, Kausar, is a prostitute who has bought her from relatives for 50,000 rupees (£500) and plans to put her to work in the sex trade as soon as she reaches puberty.
Aisha is not alone. According to welfare agencies, many of the hundreds of girls and boys orphaned by the earthquake are being targeted by gangs intent on turning them into prostitutes or street beggars.
Other children are being sold for adoption by their parents in acts of desperation prompted by the destruction of homes and livelihoods.
The Pakistani government is so alarmed by the threat to vulnerable children that it has placed armed guards at all hospitals and ordered that no child is released to anyone until proof of kinship has been verified.
A complete ban on adoption was announced after hospitals and emergency shelters were besieged by people offering to take Kashmiri orphans. Staff at the PIMS hospital in Islamabad say a number of people posing as relatives were caught trying to abduct children.
But according to Manan Rana, a child protection officer working for Unicef, the United Nations children’s fund, in Muzaffarabad, near the epicentre of the earthquake, local government in Kashmir has collapsed and officials are unable to provide protection.
No official appears to have noticed when Aisha disappeared. After her home in a village called Arja was wrecked, she was taken to her grandmother’s house in the nearby city of Bagh. Kausar, her new “carerâ€Â, who claims the little girl is a distant relative, heard about her plight from family members.
“Her grandmother was too old to look after the girl. I went to Bagh on October 12 and I got her very cheap. A pimp from Lahore might have paid 100,000 rupees,†she said.
“I will provide a good education for her. I would not like her to be a cheap, third-class prostitute. I do care about the girl. I will take good care of her, and then reap the benefit. I’m providing for her protection and I don’t care what Allah thinks.â€Â
Kausar said she was earning £200 a month from prostitution, but could earn thousands more from Aisha. She will sell the girl’s virginity to the highest bidder when she reaches puberty and expects to get up to £2,000 for that alone. “She could start work as soon as she has her first period,†Kausar said.
If Aisha refuses to work as a prostitute, she will be sold to a pimp, Kausar said. She may sell Aisha sooner if she is offered £1,000, but she would not pass her on to whites or non-Muslims, she said, and she would not consider any intervention by this newspaper.
By contrast the family of Summaya, 7, managed to escape the destruction of their house in Muzaffarabad, but her parents now plan to sell her for adoption so that they can buy a new one.
Her mother, Rafia, 38, said they were hoping a good family would pay £2,500 for her and would allow them to visit her.
“My husband is a daily wage labourer and he’s been selling blood for 400 rupees (£4) a pint,†said Rafia. “If our problems are resolved, we will not sell the girl. I love her. I know another family will never be able to give the love a real mother can, but we have to compromise.â€Â
Mohammad Hassan Mangi, director of Pakistan’s National Commission for Child Welfare and Development, said the government had set aside funds to make sure every family affected could rebuild their home. He asked to be put in contact with Summaya’s family.
“The government is giving $10,000 (about £5,650) compensation for each person killed in the quake. If this woman is affected, she will definitely get a home,†he said.
For Aisha, however, there is little anyone can do. After being interviewed, Kausar vanished into Islamabad’s vice world, taking Aisha’s future with her. o The first of three Chinook helicopters sent by Britain to help ferry supplies to remote areas of the earthquake zone left RAF Odiham in Hampshire yesterday. The two other aircraft are due to to be airlifted out today aboard C-17 transport planes.
