Online Shops in Pakistan

Internet and shopping online has always been a pain in Pakistan. There are quite a few online shops now shipping nation wide. They don’t have the largest of payment options or inventory but something is better than nothing.

A Google search for “Online Shops Pakistan” will give you a lot of results for shops that are supposed to be online but I am not going to post those. Just a selection of few which I have personally shopped from or my friends have done so. If you would like me to add some more to the list or you have any complaint about the shops I have mentioned or would like to suggest something to them. Please feel free to comment =)

(1) Galaxy Computers
They are Distributors for a few leading brands of Computer Hardware in Pakistan and are certainly the pioneers in bringing high end Computer Hardware to the Pakistani market i.e. Cooler Master Casings, Corsair XMS Gaming Memory, High end Graphics Cards etc.

The pioneers also mean that since there is no other Distributor or Shop competing with them. Their prices are somewhat on the high side but well, something is better than nothing.

Ordering procedure is old style. You have to e-mail them or ask them on telephone if the product is available and then ask for the final price including shipping. The only payment method they accept for online orders is online deposit in their Bank Account. After which the products are shipped by either TCS or OCS or SpeedEx.

(2) Shop Hive
The only online shop in Pakistan with largest selection of inventory perhaps. Just visit their website to look at the products they have for sale. Their prices might be on the high side as well.

Shipping is done through courier services like TCS & OCS.

Different payment methods are available. Cash/Cash on Delivery for Lahore only. Online deposit in their Bank Account. They also accept Checks, Money Orders and Demand Drafts. Payment through Western Union is also accepted.

(3) MyShop Online
They mostly deal in laptops and accessories. Shipping is done by courier services and payment methods are online deposit in their Bank account.

(4) VMart
Deals in Computer Hardware & Accessories. Prices are good. Payment method is online deposit in their bank account and shipping is done by courier services.

(5) Liberty Books
It’s a famous name in Karach since they have a big book shop there. This is their online shop with huge selection of books and magazines. The prices are good and they offer discounts as well.

Payment methods are online deposit in their bank account and they also accept credit cards online. Credit cards facility was down the time I shopped though so can’t say anything about that. Their service I found to be good but some say that the order takes a long time if the book is not in stock with them which is not reflected on their shop.

Shipping is done by courier. In my case, I received the book next day of the order by TCS – that’s what I call a good fast service.
