Well yes IDL is selling INTEL but they do sell AMD as well. Again same reason INTEL dominates the local market and perception of a common man. Nobody would like his motherboard to be in warranty claim for three or more times in a warranty period of three years. I am an AMD lover but my past experience forces me to switch to INTEL.

All,

I had a really BAD experience with AMD. I bought an AMD (754) 2800+ and ASUS motherboard 3-years back. I admit that it was the best gaming PC I ever had but due to lack of proper support from the retailer and changing motherboards 2-3 times I have finally turned my head back to Intel. I still have the processor with me locked in my draw....
But one has to admit that the new Core 2 Duo architecture from Intel is much better than AMD X2 and Phenom series, I am not trying to market Intel, but this is the way things are.

No doubt AMD has edge over INTEL in many fields with its stunning and over clocking techonlogy but when it comes to AMD's marketing strategy, it is poor and one cannot find good motherboards for it in local market. I have a worst experience of ASUS motherboards for AMD processor. One can believe I have changed four mother boards in three years. I do not
find a durable mother board for my Athlon 64 socket 754. Not only this but there are not used AMD based machines in the markets like Regal or else. Even a high official of so-called sole importer of AMD in Pakistan IDEAL DISTRIBUTION LINE told me that they are not given a positive response against all these issues by AMD. If AMD wants to beat INTEL in Pakistani market then it has to consider the marketing problems and satisfy the needs of customers by providing them good motherboards and accessories on reasonable prices.
