Bismillah,

Salam,

Ayatollah Khamenei:

They (reference to Iranian People) managed to bring that system (Monarchy) to its knees and create a government of the people which was based on Islamic tenets and spiritual principles. Its (reference to the government) actions are relatively Islamic. Our spirit is Islamic. I cannot say that our actions are totally Islamic. They are relatively Islamic and, God willing, they will have to become more and more Islamic every day. They brought such a state to power.

The Iranian government is not made up of infallibles, thus, it is liable to fault. There are many officials within the Iranian government who are corrupt, who do not work for the people, and who are only interested for their own gain. This is the case in all countries of the world. However, the of such corrupt people, should not be a reason to reject a whole government.

In theory, the Islamic system of government is faultless. However, the people who fit into that system of government are not. This should not be a reason to reject that whole system of government, due to the action of a few.

Salam un 'alaikum

This is my first vsit to this place.

Jaza'a kuminaAllah khairann jaz'aa for mentioning Zahra Kazemi.

Her story is the story of a mazlooma. It needs to be given the widest possible exposure. We Shia, who claim to be lovers of the Imam al Mazloomeen, should support every mazloom, anywhere, irrespective of who that mazloom is.

____________

IRAN

I do not talk personalities.

I debate philosophy, ideology and principles.

I hold that the self-styled Islamic Republic is in fact a virulent class dictatorship. A dictatorship of a certain school among theocrats.

As it goes with dictatorships, the Iranian state uses all coercive means to keep its subjects in line.

As it goes with dictatorships, the Iranian state does not brook any opposition.

As it goes with dictatorships, the Iranian state relentlessly pursues regimentation of society.

As it goes with dictatorships, the Iranian state raises the bogey of external threat to keep on augmenting coercive forces to cow down people at home.

AS it goes with distatorships, the Iranian state in its quest for total obeisance, employs any and all methods, legal and/or illegal according to Iranian and/or international laws, to curb dissent

I could go on and on . . .
